Justin Morrow serves as the manager of culinary innovation for the Oklahoma City-based
national headquarters of SONIC®, America's Drive-In®. In this position since July 2017,
Morrow is one of the developers of new products, as well as product improvement initiatives,
and menu optimization.
Morrow received his culinary training at the Culinary Institute of America in New York where
he graduated in 1995. Prior to joining SONIC, he was the executive chef at Canyon Ranch in
Tucson, Arizona and was with Canyon Ranch for 20 years. In addition to overseeing all 5
kitchens, a staff of 50+, and the preparation of up to 1,000 meals a day on property, he was
involved in menu development and maintaining the standards of Canyon Ranch’s food
When not at work Morrow enjoys cycling, and spending time with his wife and daughter. He
loves traveling to the San Francisco and Napa Valley area where he is often inspired by the
amazing farmer’s markets and food scene.
